Most locks in UPVC doors have what we call multi point locks. They consist of a lock mechanism stretching the length of the door, and a euro cylinder fitted underneath er the handle. The cylinders, and lock mechanism are available separately. For instance, if wish to change the keys, you only need a new cylinder. But if the mechanism wears you can in most cases still retain the old keys!
